Macmillan Coffee Morning

Please keep Saturday 21st September between 10.30am and 12.30pm free. You are invited to a Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in the Church Hall. As well as wonderful coffee (or tea), cakes and pastries, there will be a cake and home produce stalls.

Joint Back to School Service

This Sunday, the 1st September will be a joint service in Killead Church at 11.00am. We will be focusing on all involved in our schools as they prepare for the new term, together with all our own leaders as they prepare to lead our organisations for a new season.


GB and BB Registration

Our GB and BB companies are holding a joint registration and information evening on Wednesday 28th August from 7.00pm to 9.00pm in the Church Halls. Find out all you need to know about our uniformed organisations and their plans for the year ahead.


The Message from the Tractor Seat

Friday 23rd August from 7pm – at Mackey’s Farm, 86 Oldstone Road, Antrim – a special evening in the barn with George Barclay, Gary & Mary Reid (Kenya Digger Project) and the Ballybay Gospel Singers. See Church Bulletin for more details.


United Services – July and August

During the month of AUGUST there will be a United Service in Killead Church each Sunday at 11.00am with Prayer Time at 10.40am in the Minor Hall. Also take note that Summer Prayer Times will be held on Wednesdays 7th and 21st August at 8.00pm in Killead Minor Hall.

Classic and Vintage Vehicle Run

The annual Classic and Vintage tractor, car and bike run is scheduled for Friday 21st June meeting in the car park at 6.30pm. The run will be followed by a Beef Sizzle in the church hall.


Football @ Killead

Open to all from secondary school age up and that’s boys and girls. The next night is Wednesday 19th June at 7.30pm.


Important Dates for Families

If you have children of any age, you must put these dates in your diary. The next Messy Church is in Loanends Church Hall on Sunday 2nd June. This year’s Holiday Bible Club will be in Killead from Monday 12th to Friday 16th August. And don’t forget Youth Week scheduled for the week beginning 29th July which will also be in Loanends.
